Leopards hit by injuries, set for Mumias stay

Nairobi - AFC Leopards have been hit by injuries to key players ahead of their training camp in Mumias.
The club arrived from Zanzibar where they took part in the Mapinduzi Cup late Wednesday and immediately announced injuries to some of their key players.
Allan Wanga and Jackson Saleh will be out for at least one week
to nurse injuries sustained during the Mapinduzi Cup.
Whereas Wanga sprained his knee, Saleh sustained a hamstring injury.
Others who sustained injuries according to the team doctor are Joseph
Imbenzi Shikokoti and Martin Musalia who are nursing groin and knee
Both Shikokoti and Musalia are expected to get
well in less than two weeks.
Jacob Keli was also counted out with a knee injury to dampen Leopards start to pre-season, coming after a poor display in Zanzibar.
The club also announced that the first team will spend a fortnight in the western Kenya town of Mumias to prepare for the start of the season which includes a place in the CAF Confederations Cup.
