Leopards, Stima win in KPL action

Nairobi - AFC Leopards and Western Stima both won their respective matches in Kenyan Premier League action Saturday.

Stima beat the Nairobi City Stars 1-0 at the Mumias Sports Complex for their first win in seven outings in the league.

Job Omuse scored the lone goal on 25 minutes.

At the same venue later on, Leopards saw off a spirited KRA 3-1.

Jacob Keli, Noah Wafula and Bernard Mang'oli scored Leopards' goals, with Ivan Anguyo scoring KRA's with a stunning free kick.

The results saw Leopards climb into the top six with 29 points, while KRA remain fifth on 33.

Stima rise to 11th with 24 points, while City Stars remain third bottom with 18 points.
