Leopards' Omoto heads to Bandari

18 December 2013, 12:12

Nairobi - Patilla Omoto, who shone for AFC Leopards in the 2013 season while on loan from Kariobangi Sharks will move to Bandari in the 2014 season.

The club and player confirmed that they are in talks and close to an agreement that will see the highly rated youngster make the move to Mombasa.

" We have agreed to take on the player pending final documentation, Bandari technical director Edward Oduor said.

Omoto on the other hand said he looked forward to making the move.

" We have agreed that I move and I'm happy because it is a good club with some top players and a very experienced coach. I look forward to it, he said.

Omoto was an integral part of the Leopards squad under Luc Eymael but he fell out of favour with current coach James Nandwa who preferred more experienced faces.
