Leopards, KCB seek Top 8 final place

11 June 2014, 12:40

Nairobi - AFC Leopards will seek to overturn a first leg away goal deficit when they take on KCB for a place in the KPL Top 8 finals.

The match will be played at the Nyayo National Stadium Wednesday afternoon.

The first leg ended in a 1-1 draw and with KCB the away side then, they carry a goal advantage that will see them progress with a 0-0 draw.

The onus though will be on Leopards who will be the favourites to turn the tide and book a place in the final, especially considering that they beat Gor Mahia in the KPL over the weekend.

Leopards striker Jacob Keli and assistant coach Juma Abdalla are both ex-KCB personnel.

The final will be played Sunday, with the winner taking on defending champions Tusker FC for the KES 1 million prize money on offer.
