Nairobi - Edwin Lavatsa is settled in Algeria, following his move from Gor Mahia to MC Alger in the January window.
The Harambee Stars striker made the surprise move to the top tier in Algeria despite not being a regular at Gor and not scoring too many goals in recent years.
He has already played a part in a number of matches for the capital outfit and says he is getting settled into life in the country.
" I am trying my best to settle here, he said.
" It is a new place and a totally different culture from what I'm used to but I have been welcomed well and everyone is happy to have me here.
" I have played so far which is good and I do hope that I can settle in quickly and help the club achieve its goals, he added.
Alger are placed fifth in the Algerian top flight just six points off the lead.
