Kimanzi shell shocked

Nairobi - Francis Kimanzi is still shocked with the manner of Tusker FC's capitulation at the hands of AFC Leopards.
The brewers led Leopards 2-0 Sunday in the second half of their GOtv Shield quarter-finals but ended up losing 3-2.
Kimanzi was visibly surprised at the manner of the loss, and on reflection after the game, feels it was a bitter pill to swallow.
" It is not like us to lose like that, he said after the match.
" We conceded two sloppy goals, one a contentious penalty and the other an own goal, then they scored a third goal which was really good.

" Maybe it was just one of those days but you cannot help but feel let down with the result, considering we had a two goal lead, he added.
The brewers now turn their focus to trying to win the Kenyan Premier League, but that also looks like a long shot as they are six points behind leaders Gor Mahia with just five games left to play.
" We are not out of it but we need to more or less win our remaining games and hope the others drop points. I feel they will but we have to win all our games too. We will give it our best and see where we end up, he says.
