Kimanzi satisfied with result

20 August 2014, 09:25

Nairobi - Tusker boss Francis Kimanzi has declared himself happy with the result after seeing his side held to a goalless draw by AFC Leopards.

Kimanzi's men were unable to capitalise on their home advantage, with the solitary point leaving them just two points clear of second-placed Gor Mahia, who have three games in hand on the leaders.

"We played against a very strong, focused and in form side today, so a point is much better than none. I am satisfied with this result," Kimanzi said.

Tusker have just ten games remaining in their league campaign and return to action on Sunday, September 7 when they travel to seventh-placed Ulinzi Stars.

Gor Mahia, meanwhile, play host to 13th-placed Bandari on September 8, as they aim to return to winning trail.
