Nairobi - Sofapaka midfielder Anthony Kimani has finally completed his move to Mombasa side Bandari FC after weeks of talks between the two clubs which commenced at the end of the 2014 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) season.
According to the Sofapaka president Elly Kalekwa, Kimani’s contract was heading to expiry and the club had to cash in to stem the possibility of the player leaving for free in 2015.
Kimani joined Sofapaka from Nairobi City Stars (then known as World Hope) five years ago and Kalekwa termed the midfielder a loyal soldier during his time at Sofapaka and wished him the best in his next venture.
