Lagos - Stephen Keshi will remain as head coach of Nigeria after the intervention of the nation's sports minister, Bolaji Abdullahi in his row with the football federation.
Keshi's row with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) led to the 51-year-old coach announcing on South African radio, Metro FM, on Monday that he told federation he will no longer continue as the Super Eagles' head coach.
But the sports minister, who also chairs the Nigerian National Sports Commission (NSC), prevailed on the former Mali and Togo coach to withdraw his resignation.
