Nairobi - According to reports in Nigeria, Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has been fired.
The under-fire Keshi has been accused of letting the team down and under-performance with the team struggling to qualify for the 2015 AFCON in Morocco after a poor set of results.
Keshi has not been under contract and it was widely expected he would get the sack after the 1-0 loss to Sudan last weekend.

The 3-1 reverse over the Sudanese Wednesday though, was however was apparently not enough to save him and he has now been replaced by Shaibu Amodu.
An official announcement from the Nigerian Football Federation NFF is awaited Thursday.
