Kenyatta accepts defeat

05 October 2015, 14:57

Nairobi - Ushuru coach Ken Kenyatta admits his side got what they deserved after crashing to a 3-0 defeat against relegation threatened KCB on Sunday.

The Bankers came flying out of the blocks and took the lead just 16 seconds into this weekend's Kenyan Premier League encounter, before adding the second and third goals in either half at the Nairobi City Stadium.

Speaking after the result, Kenyatta told SuperSport: "We were caught pants down but it happens in a game of football; in their previous match they lost by five goals so it’s not something new.

"We have to accept defeat, sit down and plan for the next game.

"We do plan on how to play but at times players do not adhere to instructions as agreed. A slight mistake cost us an early goal which destabilized us but we hope to rectify that so that next time we don’t concede so early."
