Kenya U-20 team for COSAFA Cup named

Nairobi - The Kenya national U-20 team that will take part in the COSAFA youth Cup has been named.

The team was complied by national team technical director Jacob Ghost Mulee and will be led by Thika United head coach John Kamau.

The most impressive name in the team is that of Gor Mahia forward Timmonah Wanyonyi who will be in the team after an impressive season with Gor.

His Gor teammate Anthony Gathu, Sofapaka's Collins Shivachi and Thika United's Vincent Omumbo are among players that have featured in the Kenyan Premier League this season.

AFC Leopards midfielder Patillah OMoto and Tusker FC striker Micheal Olunga will also be in the squaad that heads to camp Wednesday.

Kenya has been pooled in group A that brings together Mauritius, Lesotho and the Comoros. They will take on Mauritius December 3 in Maseru, Lesotho in their opening match of the competition.
