Keli inspires KCB to victory

16 October 2013, 22:15

Nairobi - KCB beat Sony Sugar 3-2 in a Kenyan Premier League (KPL) clash at the Nairobi City Stadium on Wednesday, Supersport.com reports.

Jacob Keli gave the bankers an early lead with a third minute goal, stealing in ahead of Sony Sugar custodian Wycliffe Kasaya to head in Benjamin Chaka’s cross from the right side.

The early lead ensured the normally defensive Sony opened up, which allowed KCB space and the Bankers dominated, creating numerous chances before getting the reward for their persistence in the 24th minute as Benedict Owuor scored with a deflected free-kick from the edge of the box.
