Keli apologizes for horror tackle

Nairobi - AFC Leopards striker Jacob Keli has apologized for a horror tackle made during the GOtv Shield win over Ligi Ndogo.
Keli was sent off three minutes to the break Sunday, at the City Stadium in Nairobi after hitting Ligi defender Brian Odhiambo in the face.
He was sent off and the defender taken to hospital and the striker was apologetic for the nature of the tackle and injury caused.

" I didn't deserve to get that red card which was the first of my professional career. It wasn't my intention to hurt that young lad and after the match I got information from paramedics that he is fine, he said on Facebook Sunday night.
Leopards won the match 2-0 and will face Tusker FC in the last 8 of the competition.
