Kasaya confident of survival

08 November 2013, 08:17

Nairobi - Sony Sugar goalkeeper Wycliffe Kasaya was selected the best performer in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) clash against Chemelil Sugar, after a string of great saves that saw his team earn a point in the goalless draw on Wednesday.

A win in the game would have seen Sony banish their relegation fears, but Kasaya, speaking after the match, said the point earned was a well deserved one and added that they can still win their final game of the season and beat the drop.

“It was a well deserved point I believe because playing Chemelil is never easy and doing it here at their backyard is even harder so I guess this is a worthy point. On an overall view, we have to get back to the drawing board since we need to bag three points in our last game against Bandari.
