Kamau rues lapse in concentration

Nakuru - Thika United head coach John Kamau blamed a lapse in concentration among his defenders for the last minute goal they conceded at Afraha Stadium in a Kenyan Premier League (KPL) clash against Ulinzi Stars on Sunday.
Thika were leading through a Michael Olunga goal scored late in the first half but Ulinzi Stars keeper Francis Ochieng grabbed the equalizer with a free kick deep from his half and Kamau, speaking after the game, called on his players to be more alert in future.
“My players had a lapse in concentration and that is why we conceded that late goal; I think it is one issue they should never allow to happen again. Apart from that I am happy with their output – they stuck to our game plan and we did well.
