Nairobi - Thika United head coach John Kamau has suggested that
striker Michael Olunga's trial spell with SuperSport United is
The forward spent the past week with Matsatsantsa and scored
the winning penalty in the Gauteng Cup final against Mamelodi Sundowns, after
he was introduced as a substitute for Mame Niang.
Olunga's stint with the PSL side is nothing definite,
according to the Thika mentor, despite reports suggesting that the striker is
close to completing a transfer to the Tshwane outfit.
"The fact that the trials have not been published by
the clubs means the developments are not official, so I wish not to comment
further," Kamau told Futaa.
Olunga has netted five times so far in the KPL, which is
good enough for second place in the top scorers' table.
