Kaindu puts players on notice

27 May 2013, 17:03 Collins Okinyo

Nairobi - Highlanders coach Kelvin Kaindu has put the players in the national team on notice reiterating that they will have to fight for their places when they return back from national duty.

Kaindu who was speaking after his side maintain the league leadership after beating Black Mambas 2-1 intimated that the team has won two crucial matches against Monomotapa 5-2 and against Black Mambas without the players and this showed that the current squad was upto task.

"Our match against Black Mambas was not easy at all as they gave us a run for our money but at the end of the day we got all the three important points. We want to maintain consistency since we know strong team are lurking behind us and this is why I would like to tell the players who are with the national team it will not be business as usual they will have to come back and fight for their position as am impressed by their replacements who ensured we got important wins," Kaindu told supersport.com.
