Thika - Kenyan international midfielder Francis Kahata has defended his Thika United head coach John Kamau over assertion that he (Kahata) needs to be consistent for him to get more playing time at the club level.
Since scoring against Nairobi City Stars and Nigeria in a 2014 World Cup qualifier in Calabar last month, the youngster has been struggling in the Kenyan Premier League [KPL], something that Kamau was not happy with.
Kamau said it takes one big player in a big match to win matches; Kahata is one of the players that have shown signs of a big player in big matches, like the recent one Kenya verses Nigeria and he has also shown them in the match against City Stars.
