Kadenge not worried by Oliech exit

27 May 2014, 12:12

Nairobi - Joe Kadenge is not worried by Dennis Oliech's exit from the national team Harambee Stars and believes all players should be treated as equals.

The Stars talisman was on Monday night dropped from the squad travelling to the Comoros due to his continued absence from camp.

It means other players will get the chance to lead the line, a move Kadenge feels is right for the national team.

" I think it is good that for harmony, he does not travel, he said.

" He has not been there and so I think it is good that the ones who are in the team get the chance to play for the side.

" It would have been unfair if Oliech played after his conduct, so in my opinion, it is good that he has been dropped, he added.

Oliech will miss the trip to the Comoros which the Stars take Wednesday, with a 1-0 lead over their rivals in first round 2015 AFCON qualifying.
