KPL/Puma launch new official league ball

Nairobi - The Kenyan Premier League and sport apparel provider Puma are all set to launch the top flight league's official match day ball.
Puma, one of the world’s leading Sports Brands and long-standing supporter of African football, today launches the official football of the Kenyan Premier League for Season 2014: The PUMA KPL KING Match.
The German company has been the official ball sponsor of the Kenyan Premier League since 2012 and the PUMA KPL KING Match is today launched as the official football for the 2014 season. The ball, which depicts logos of the Kenyan Premier League and Tusker, is constructed from 32 panels with equal surface areas for reduced seam stress and near perfect round shape.
The PU panel with under-glass design provides soft touch and high abrasion resistance. Panels are strengthened with multi-layered polyester; viscose and blended backing for enhanced stability, with the backing laminated with a layer of natural latex for increased water repellence. Panels are hand stitched using heavy gauge thread; which is pre-stretched and waxed. The seams allow an even flow of air for a perfect aerodynamic performance, a six-wing latex bladder for superior touch and PUMA AIR LOCK valve for air retention. The FIFA Approved mark guarantees the highest level of performance and excellent size and shape retention, game after game.
Since the beginning of this year, PUMA’s area organisation with head office in Dubai has been entrusted with the responsibility to develop and service the East African market in addition to the Middle East.

The PUMA KPL KING Match ball will be the official ball for the Kenyan Premier League games for the rest of the season. The ball will be available to buy at retail at select Nairobi Sports House stores.
