KPL teams play catch-up

Nairobi - The Kenya Premier League (KPL) has allocated Saturday and Sunday as days the four teams playing catch-up in the league be level with their counterparts.
The four league teams lagging behind by a game each comprise former champions AFC Leopards, who will play unpredictable Western Stima on Sunday while Top Fry Nakuru will be hosting Tusker Football Club on Saturday.
The two matches for Saturday and Sunday pit teams that are eyeing the KPL title while two others are fighting relegation and desire to end the season on top eight at the end of the season.
Top Fry Nakuru FC, who lie 15th on the league log standings, will host third position Tusker, who boast 27 points from 14 matches played to date.
Rejuvenated AFC Leopards, who occupy the 11th position, will entertain Western Stima, who are seventh on top of the log in a match likely to go AFC Leopards' way.
Since signing new Dutch coach Peter Hendriks de Jong, AFC Leopards have been playing flawless football brand.
They are expected to win this encounter and enhance their desire to finish the season at least among the top five.
