Nairobi - Kenyan Premier League (KPL) chief executive officer Jack Oguda has condemned the acts of hooliganism witnessed during the Kenya Power Charity Cup on Sunday at Nyayo Stadium when Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards fans clashed.
Oguda rebuked the incident saying it was derailing the gains in football but at the same time called on stakeholders to find tangible solutions solve the problem that has been rearing its ugly head in Kenyan football.
"It was really disappointing seeing some unscrupulous hooligans taking a noble tournament hostage. I personally think more must be done to tackle the hooligans and this needs a collective effort and direct engagement by all the stakeholders," he said.
