KPL: AFC Leopards take on KCB

19 February 2014, 12:35

Nairobi - AFC Leopards take on KCB in their first Kenyan Premier League fixture of the 2014 season at the Nyayo National Stadium this afternoon.

Leopards will be hoping for a strong start to the season and will be bouyed by their progress in the CAF Confederations Cup over the weekend.

They will face a KCB side that impressed last season and will be hard to beat this term too, considering they have bolstered well, after the loss of some key players.

" It is great to start the season and we hope for the best start possible considering we have had a couple of games already. We hope for the three points, Leopards coach James Nandwa said.

His KCB counterpart Abdalla Juma too is confident ahead of kick-off.

" This season, everyone will see KCB as a tough match considering how well we did last season. I hope that we can be able to continue with the good run and produce a positive start, he added.

Kick-off will be at 3pm.
