Nairobi - KCB Football Club, buoyed by their pre-season signings, has set its sights on winning the league title.
The side has completed the signing of its former striker, Ezekiel Odera, from Thika United in a bid to sharpen its attacking front ahead of the new season.
KCB coach, Abdala Juma, confirmed the signing and stated that the player had resumed training at the club ahead of a friendly match scheduled for later on Wednesday.
KCB beat champions Gor Mahia for the signature of the valued striker.
“It is true he (Odera) is back and he has even started training with us. He has already played a friendly match and on Wednesday he will be playing another friendly. He is not going to Gor Mahia. He has come back to KCB,” said Juma.
KCB meanwhile also signed Andrew Murunga from Tusker FC.
Juma exuded confidence that the club was going to lift the trophy come this starting season.
He also noted that unlike before, when the club competed for the league title only, this season the club would compete for three titles including the much sought-after Go TV championships.
The coming season is expected to be more competitive with clubs signing in new players to better their squads.
