KCB eye KRA scalp

19 August 2014, 10:26

Nairobi - KCB are hoping to beat KRA and move closer to safety in the Kenyan Premier League.

The bankers are in the midst of a relegation dog fight and need any points they can pick up on the way, with just eight games to play.

Head coach Rishadi Shedu says that a win over KRA will lift spirits in his camp.

" We have a task on our hand which is to ensure our club remains in the top flight and we will fight as hard as we can to ensure so, he said.

" KRA have looked good this season but my side has the confidence and they are looking forward to the game.

" We need points sooner rather than later and that is the reality. We hope to start Friday, he added.

A win for KCB will take them level on points with the Nairobi City Stars who are currently in the position of safety.
