Indeche thanks SoNy for second chance

30 January 2014, 15:16

Nairobi - Lukas Indeche has thanked SoNy Sugar for giving him a chance to re-ignite his career after signing a two year deal with the western Kenya club.

The goalkeeper found himself on the sidelines after being dropped by Thika United after the 2013 season.

He has however landed at SoNy who have given him a two year deal and Indeche is grateful for the vote of confidence displayed in him by SoNy coach Zedekiah Zico Otieno.

" I am happy and at the same time relieved to be at SoNy Sugar.

" There was a difficult time for me when I left Thika because everyone doubted my potential to perform in the Kenyan Premier League.

" It was a time for soul searching but for a coach as experienced as Zico to come out and give me a chance is huge, he said.

Indeche will compete with Gadi Kawuondi and Timothy Odhiambo for the first choice spot at SoNy.
