Imbalambala blasts changes

Nairobi - AFC Leopards captain Martin Imbalambala has blamed the coaching changes for the side's struggles in the recently-concluded KPL campaign.
Ingwe started the season under the guidance of James Nandwa, who was later dismissed along with his assistant Mickey Weche and team manager Francis Xavier.
The trio were replaced with Dutchman Hendrik Pietter de Jongh, with Juma Abdallah as assistant coach, while Richard Madegwa was installed in the team manager capacity and latter replaced by Willis Waliaula.
Imbalambala has admitted that the technical changes was the main reason for their inconsistency, as they also fell short off defending the Shield Cup title.

"Frequent change of coaches has been our main undoing this season," the Leopards skipper said after Saturday's 3-2 win over Bandari.
"It destabilises the players' minds, but I hope that such will not occur again in the coming season."
Leopards ended the campaign in sixth place with 41 points, but still have a match in hand, with their abandoned clash against SoNy Sugar still being reviewed.
