Homeboyz rewarded for bright start

Nairobi - Kenyan Premier League [KPL] rookies Kakamega Homeboyz have increased their players’ allowances for the 2013 season.
Originally, the players received Kshs 500 and Kshs 300 for a win and a draw respectively, but after an impressive KPL debut on Sunday, the club’s chairman Cleophas Shimanyula has decided to increase the package.
The Mashujaa Cup champions smacked Karuturi Sports 3-1 in a thrilling match, at Bukhungu Stadium. As per the new rates, the players will now get Kshs 3,000 for a win and Kshs 1,000 for a draw.
