Harambee Stars upbeat ahead of Lesotho clash

Nairobi - The national team Harambee Stars is upbeat ahead of their AFCON qualifying clash versus Lesotho.

Jerim Onyango have lauded the federation for its efforts in ensuring that the
team stays focused ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Lesotho in Maseru
"We have received all the necessary
support and we have had serious training sessions under Head Coach Adel
Amrouche and his technical bench and the federation has motivated us. Its
our turn now to ensure that we deliver by winning our tie in order to sail into
the group stages, he said.
Jerim was speaking during a
dinner organized for the team at the Casablanca hotel in Nairobi on Sunday
evening where they watched the FIFA World Cup Finals on Big Screen courtesy of
the FKF and attended by representatives of its key sponsors, GOTV, FLY 540,
EABL and the management of Osteria Restaurants.
" It is indeed a rare moment
for us as a team to watch the World Cup together as a football family and we
thank FKF as well as our sponsors for this wonderful evening, he added.
FKF President Sam Nyamweya as
well as Mr Felix Kyengo the General Manager GOTV and Winnie Mwangi sales
executive FLY 540 and other dignitaries who included Nominated Senator Zipporah
