Harambee Stars squad set for naming

Nairobi - The Harambee Stars squad for the upcoming CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup is set to be named by head coach Adel Amrouche.
The tourney kicks off on November 27, 2013 and with the local football season now over after the GOtv Shield final on Sunday, Amrouche is set to pick his side.
The head coach will name a provisional side before dropping some players and settling on a final list of players.
One man who expects to be in the squad is Allan Wanga of AFC Leopards after a riveting season for the men in blue and he says that he is looking forward to taking part in the tournament.
" If I can get a place in the national team for CECAFA it would be great as it is an opportunity to represent the country at a high level. There is good competition among the strikers so let us wait and see, he said.
Wanga will compete with Jacob Keli who was the KPL top scorer in the just ended season, Jesse Were and others to be the lead striker in the team.
Another player who is likely to vbe called up is Peter Opiyo of AFC Leopards after another solid season.
" It is always good to play for the national team and I do hope I can get the call-up.
Kenya are looking to dethrone Uganda whom they lost to in Kampala in the 2012 final.
