Harambee Stars eye CECAFA quarters

03 December 2013, 09:17

Nairobi - Harambee Stars will take on Zanzibar  Tuesday with the aim of making the quarter finals of the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup.

The national team will seek a place in the last eight of the Cup with a win over the Zanzibaris and finish top of their pool to guarantee a softer opponent in the next round.

Zanzibar will be tougher opposition than South Sudan who the Stars faced in their last match and head coach Adel Amrouche says he is confident his side will be in good shape for the clash.

" It will be tough because they have pride to play for, he said.

" There is need to make the quarter-finals and in first place too and so it is important that we start and finish the match in good shape, he added.

The match will be played at Nakuru's Afraha Stadium.
