Government warns Gor Mahia on hooliganism

Nairobi - Hassan Wario has moved to congratulate Gor Mahia for their KPL title
success, but warned that their fans' hooliganism needs to be "dealt
The 2014 season saw K'Ogalo successfully defended the KPL crown they
won last year, with new coach Frank Nuttall able to ensure they finished
three points clear at the top of the standings.
Nairobi giants' season was plagued by supporter violence, and while
proud of Gor's league achievement, Wario has warned against any repeat
in the new campaign.

"Gor Mahia are worthy champions. They
brought pomp and colour to the league. The KPL would be poorer without
you, but the concern of hooliganism must be dealt with," Wario said.
went on to urge the KPL to also adopt a more professional approach when
running the division, adding: "It is time to professionalise the league
so that it becomes a serious income generator for the communities
