Nairobi - Gor Mahia skipper Jerim Onyango is on cloud nine as he envisages lifting the elusive Kenyan Premier League trophy.
Onyango will become the first Gor skipper in 18 years to receive the trophy foloiwng in the footsteps of former coach Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Otieno who was skipper when K’Ogalo last won the trophy in 1995.
"It’s like a dream come true considering so many great players have passed through the K’Ogalo ranks for the past 18 years but they have not been able to win the league title. I am especially happy because we have worked hard and all this is happening while I am the team captain which makes it even more special for me."
