Gor skipper happy with point

01 August 2013, 15:37

Nairobi - Gor Mahia goalkeeper and skipper Jerim Onyango was instrumental in his team’s game against Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Tusker FC as the two sides fought out a barren draw in a league clash played on Wednesday.

His performance earned him a Man of the Match recognition and speaking of the result he said a point from a game against Tusker is a big gain, since the champions do not drop points easily and he added that he was satisfied with the result.

“Going into the game we had of course planned for all the three points but under the circumstances we will just appreciate the one point we got. We are grateful for we know at some point in the season that one point will make a big difference,” he said.
