Gor skipper eyes Thika scalp

Nairobi - Gor Mahia skipper Jerim Onyango has vowed that his side will work hard to defend their GOtv Shield by beating Thika United this weekend in the pre-quarterfinal on Sunday.
Onyango who has played a big role in K’Ogalo's rise this season in the league reiterated that they were not under pressure and that the morale in the team was upbeat ahead of the Thika clash which he described as a big game.
"Everybody in the team is looking forward to Sunday to play against Thika United who are a good side with talented players. It will be a big match in the GOtv pre quarters but I think the pressure will be on Thika United to give their best. We have been in top form and we hope to continue with the same and our main aim is to defend the Shield we won last year at the same time win the league title." Jerim said.
