Gor set 8 million price tag for Sserunkuma

20 November 2013, 20:14

Nairobi - Gor Mahia have set a price tag of KES 8Million for Dan Sserunkuma's departure from the club.

Sserunkuma is currently in Europe trying to finalize a deal to move from the KPL champions but any club willing to get his services will be required to pay the figure (Approx USD 100,000).

According to Secretary General George Bwana, the figure is not meant to ward off potential suitors as has been alleged in some quarters.

" That figure is okay and I see no reason as to why a club should not pay that much for a player of Sserunkuma's quality.

" We think that to get a premium player you must pay a premium amount and it is no different to Sserunkuma, he said.

Sserunkuma's move away from the club failed to go through in mid-season as Gor termed the offers they received as unacceptable.
