Nairobi - Gor Mahia fans have started contributing to their club after an appeal by the club bosses for financial help.
As per Monday 28 April, five days after the Pay Bill Number was launched, the contributions had hit KES 222,341, which was an improvement by KES 60,000 of Kshs 161,181 as stipulated on the club's official website.
The Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions have been short on finances following the expiry of the club's three year sponsorship package from Tuzo and called on the fans to help.
Gor are currently top of the log and in the semi-finals of the KPL Top 8 competition.
