Gor coach Williamson happy to remain top

28 July 2014, 13:58

Nairobi - Gor Mahia head coach Bobby Williamson is happy to remain top of the Kenyan Premier League despite the draw with AFC Leopards.

Gor were held at the last minute by Leopards Sunday in the Nairobi derby at the Nyayo National Stadium.

The point, coupled with Tusker FC not beating Bandari means Gor are still three points in the lead with 11 games left to play.

" I am, happy with the point because we remain in the lead in the title race. That is what matters at the moment.

" We played well and they equalized in the last minutes so it was disappointing but we are happy that we have remained top, he added.

Gor have 38 points, three ahead of second placed Tusker and five ahead of third placed Sofapaka.
