Nairobi - Gor Mahia Vice Chairman John Pesa admits the club badly needs a sponsor, saying they are struggling financially.
The club is in a dire financial state since the exit of sponsors Tuzo six months ago and Pesa says that the club is really struggling.
" We are really struggling. We have no money and paying players is an issue, he said.
" Motivation is an issue at the club and we are trying hard to keep the players in the right shape for now and hoping they will play while we try sort out the mess.
" We need a better squad than we have at the moment but that will only happen when and if we are able to get a sponsor, he added.
Gor are looking to retain their Kenyan Premier League title.
" Hopefully it will be so. We need to win to attract sponsors and keep our level.
