Gor, Sofapaka take KPL title chase to final day

01 November 2014, 16:31

Nairobi - Gor Mahia and Sofapaka both won their Kenyan Premier League matches to ensure the KPL title will be decided on the last day of the season.

Gor beat Muhoroni Youth 3-1 in Kisumu Saturday, with Sofapaka seeing off AFC Leopards 2-1 in Mumias to keep up the pressure on their rivals.

In Kisumu goals from Ugandan trio Dan Sserunkuma, Geoffrey Walusimbi and Geoffrey Kizito ensured the win for Gor to move them to 59 points.

Enock Agwanda on the other hand struck twice to move Sofapaka to 58.

Gor take on KRA FC in their final game of the season, with Sofapaka clashing with Tusker FC. Gor need to match Sofapaka's results to retain the title they won last season.
