Gor Mahia unveil Chase Bank insurance deal

13 May 2014, 14:07

Nairobi - Gor Mahia have unveiled a sponsorship deal with Chase Bank which will see the club handed a spanking new insurance deal for its players.

The deal will have the players, technical bench and their families covered for incidences both on and off the pitch.

"The deal will see Gor Mahia players and technical bench staff and their families benefit from a renewable Kshs 15 million shillings kitty over a period of one year. The deal becomes the club's first ever deal in history, Secretary General Chris Omondi said at the City Stadium in Nairobi Tuesday.

The negotiations have been ongoing for the last three months though the details have remained scanty but it is now clear that 30 playing unit members, seven technical bench staff and up to three members of their dependents will be covered.

Gor are also still keenly looking out for a main sponsor following the exit of dairy milk producer Tuzo last month.
