Gor Mahia shelled to bits in Maputo

20 February 2012, 07:24 Collins Okinyo

Mozambique - Kenyan representatives to the Caf confederation cup preliminary round of matches Gor Mahia found the going too tough for them when their hopes were crushed by a 3-0 defeat in the hands of Feroviario away in Maputo who seem to have one foot in the second leg after the famous win..

Ferroviario were in red hot form breaking the deadlock as early as the 4th minute after a classic Clesio Baugue goal after he found the defence napping beating keeper Jerim Onyango in Gor Mahia's goal.

Ferroviario came back from the break to continue from where they left as their relentless pressure paid off in the 58th minute as Tchitcho Nzili doubled their advantage from a long range effort that gave keeper Jerim Onyango no time to react making the scores 2-0 to the home team advantage.
