Nairobi - Gor Mahia have lost their CECAFA Kagame Cup opener 2-1 to Uganda's KCCA in Kigali Rwanda.
The men in green were the better side in the first half and scored through Dan Sserunkuma on the half hour mark and should have had a second but Timothy Otieno's goal was wrongly ruled out for offside.
The second half though, belonged to the Ugandans who equalized through Brian Majwegga on 63 minutes and then won the game late in the day courtesy of Brian Umony on 88 minutes.
They will kick themselves for the loss though as they had a number of chances to extend their lead or even take the lead in the second half.
They take on Rwanda's APR, Atletico of Burundi and Telecom of Djibouti in their remaining Group B matches.
