Floodlit matches banned

Nairobi - Football Kenya Federation (FKF) and other stakeholders on Thursday banned staging of football matches at night, Supersport.com reports.
The move is geared towards enhancing security at football matches
countrywide, coming in the wake of last Saturday’s terror attack by
outlawed Somalia terror group Al- Shabaab at a popular at Nairobi
shopping mall which left 67 people dead and over 175 injured.
The decision to ban the night matches and bolster security in Kenyan
stadia was taken during stakeholders meeting in Nairobi, chaired by FKF
President Sam Nyamweya and attended by KPL CEO Jack Oguda, Sports Stadia
Management Board representatives.
