Nairobi - The Football Kenya Federation are waiting on the match commissioner and referee's reports before deciding on disciplinary action against Tusker FC coach Francis Kimanzi.
The Brewers mentor led his players in an attack on referee George
Mwai during their Kenyan Premier League match against Top Fry Nakuru All
Stars at Afraha Stadium on Wednesday.
FKF CEO Michael Esakwa confirmed the association's intentions to hand
down punishment, but emphasized the importance of considering the
officials' report before any action is taken.
"Once we receive them (reports), they will be taken to the relevant
disciplinary committees of the federation for action," Esakwa explained
"I do not want to preempt the work of these committees but let
justice take its course once we receive all the relevant documentation
from match officials who were in charge of the tussle."
The two sides took home a point each, as the match ended 1-1 which
saw Tusker fall short of catching leaders Gor Mahia in the championship
