Eymael close to joining Rwandese club

30 January 2014, 14:01

Nairobi - Former AFC Leopards coach Luc Eymael is close to joining Rwandese club Rayon Sport.

The Belgian coach has been jobless since unceremoniously exiting Leopards in later 2013, getting close to sealing ,moves to clubs but falling out at the last minute.

It now seems though that  he is close to joining Rayon.

" I am close to agreeing a deal here with Rayon Sport. They are a strong club with a good history and they also speak French here so I'm happy, he said.

" At the moment, there is nothing that has been decided yet but I hope for the best, he told News24 from Kigali.

Eymael left Leopards late 2012 after disagreeing with club officials on the direction the club was taking.
