Embarrasment for Kenya as U-17 side pulls out of CAF qualifiers

Nairobi - The Kenya national under 17 side has pulled out of the CAF championships qualifiers set for the weekend where they were to face South Sudan.
The side was to face the South Sudanese Sunday in the first round first leg clash in Nairobi but a team has yet to be assembled.
On contacting a source at FKF, it was confirmed that the side has pulled out.
" There will be no side. We will hand them (South Sudan) a walkover because there is no money, the source said.
The FKF top brass could not be reached as it is in Brazil for the FIFA World Cup opening ceremony set to take place Thursday.
Technical Director Jacob Ghost Mulee could not be found when reached for comment.
The fiasco will no doubt be an embarrassing one for the country considering South Sudan are war ravaged and have not had a Federation for more than two years.
