De Jongh backing for Wafula

04 September 2014, 17:15

Nairobi - Pieter De Jongh has predicted big things for striker Noah Wafula following his impressive form in the Kenyan Premier League.

The forward has found the back of the net four times in his last four outings, although De Jongh believes there are still some aspects of his game they can work on, leaving the tactician buzzing with excitement over Wafula's potential.

"Noah brings a very important physical aspect up front for us. He is ready to get into action at any moment. He takes on the defenders and he is very quick which is a key aspect for a striker," De Jongh said.

"I want to admit that he will only get better with time as we have several technical aspects of the game that we will work with him to make him the best in the team and also a key striker for the country."

The coach added: "We have little complaint of his efforts as he knows when to be in attack and in defence and gives one hundred percent effort."
