Congo players resume training

Nairobi - After a week long boycott over unpaid allowances, twelve Congo United players turned up for training on Monday evening at the Burhaniya training grounds in Mombasa.

Club Technical Director Aref Bhagazal was optimistic that the rest of the squad will report for training on Tuesday.

Congo was relegated after the 4-0 loss against AFC Leopards in Mumias ten days ago and the director confirmed that some of his key players might be leaving the club led by captain Rama Salim who is being sought by both Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards.
